I thought it was in you that I could confide
but two weeks later you've started to run and hide.
I'm sure that if it was your location I managed to discover
I'd simply just start with the talking and expect nothing further.
All that I want is to understand
So if you can try, take my hand.
Allow me for once to speak my mind,
and it may just be what you seek, that you find.
Could it be that what you said,
Is the real reason why you fear to tread?
That I'm to good to be true,
and that you genuinely don't know what to do?
I get the impression
